The Role
For our production plant in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) with over 800 employees, we are looking for an Invoice to pay accountant to join the Invoice to pay team for a maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all transactions are posted accurately and on time for all entities, including but not limited to invoices, credit notes, corrections and supplier payments.- Assist with day-to-day duties to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, including but not limited to AP corrections, AP accruals.- Act as a key point of contact for all internal and external Stakeholders, ensuring end-to-end customer service and delivery of agreed SLA’s.- Responsible for the reconciliation of Supplier accounts to ensure there is no disruption to services/goods.- Assist with the preparation of all third-party payments.- Adopt and champion a continuous improvement mindset to all relevant tasks and procedures.- Provide information to key stakeholders within the company, which is timely, relevant and accurate.- Entry entities’ compliance to Sarbanes Oxley and Accounting Standards are being followed in line with Xylem Corporate Policies.- Support Internal and External Annual Audit processes and compliance reviews for the AP domain.- Undertake any other ad hoc duties/projects as and when required to meet the varying demands of the business and to satisfy customer needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.- Fluency in English and Italian, another language is considered a plus- Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office systems, especially Excel and Word is considered a plus
Skills:
- Excellent mathematical skills and proficiency in using accounting software.- Attention to detail, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
