**Location**: Milan

The Project Control Manager will support Development and PDU teams in Italy and Croatia Region ensuring that projects under development and construction receive the required support in areas of cost planning and control, time scheduling and project programming, risk identification and management, and reporting to Statkraft standards. The Project Control Manager is an integral role in project teams during all phases of project development and delivery. The Project Control Manager is involved in assurance activities and provide services to asset owners in relation to portfolio planning and management.

Among your responsibilities:

- Manage and co-ordinate controlling and activities in projects and across portfolio (for all the technologies), being run by the regional Project Delivery Unit in collaboration with the other members of the team.
- Proactively support the team in verifying and achieving project’s maturity throughout the development phase, and in confirming during execution and construction the objective in terms of Cost and Time.
- Facilitate risk management processes, and co-ordinate risks associated with projects: Quantitative and Qualitative Risk Assessments throughout the entire life cycle of the projects. Support the Team in defining, control and monitoring the plan for eliminate, transfer and mitigate risks.
- Co-ordinate project control (Schedule and Cost) according to Statkraft requirements and current best practices within the region. Ensure established principles and processes are followed by project teams (internal and external supporting team members).
- Recommend corrective action to Project Managers and wider integrated project team.
- Influence, with Project Managers, effective Senior Management decision making based on objective analysis of information.
- Contribute with competence into the corporate Project Controls centre of excellence, by building expertise, sharing best practices and support training for relevant processes and tools.
- Recommend and influence process and system improvement opportunities when they arise.
- Month-end closing activities and periodical project/unit reporting.
- Project-end closing activities, final assessment and compile lessons learned.
- Liaise with Finance team to ensure consistent reporting and forecasting.

Support in the development of Project Portfolio tools for the region.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Masters or university degree in engineering, or similar with documented extensive experience in the field

**Experience / knowledge**
- Project controls experience (+4/5 years) from large, complex, international investment projects.
- Clear affinity with renewables and ideally relevant working experience in the renewable energy industry
- Good knowledge of relevant systems and tools including Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project / Project Online and SAP is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
