GROUP CONTROLLER

Main responsibilities:
Head coordinator of plant controlling offices, collaborating proactively in the development of new control tools, deeply entering in the logic of the production factors and in the processes affecting all the economic and financial indicators. To be the focal point on the mill for Central Head of Controlling and Reporting & Budgeting office. To be a strong and effective support to other business functions: Plant Directors, Plant Management and cross functional offices.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
- To check and ensure the correctness and accuracy of the full production costs and monitoring their progress by generating annual/monthly budgets and verifying/explain the final balance.
- To deeply enter in the industrial cost structure, understanding main influencing factors in order to understand potential saving rooms, potential short and long run impacts, correlations and relevant sensitivities
- To contribute to periodic budget closures by carrying out checks on all items directly related to the mill
- To manage and monitor the progress of the CAPEX by dealing directly with the relevant Project Managers. Support the CAPEX function both on preliminary approval and implementation phases. To control and monitor the slow moving situation of the warehouses with a special view to working capital management efficiency
- Support to internal and external accounting audits
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Identify and implement opportunities of continuous improvement on performed activities
- Making decisions in implementing process standardization and delivering improved process workflows, procedures and management information.

Competence
- University Degree in Economics or Engineering Management
- Significant and proven expertise working in data analysis and controlling functions
- Skills and experience working in industrial sectors give a real preference
- Experience of work in multi-site/multi-office company and in collaboration with Holding structures
- Fluent English
