**The Contract Manufacturing Procurement Specialist, dedicated to the Professional Oral Care materials, **is responsible for ensuring the supply, cost, quality and service of a group of materials (raw and pack) that are used in production of Professional Oral Care Products, including Cosmetic, medical devices and Medicinals. He/She will be responsible to develop the strategies in a coordinated way with the Global Procurement, I&S Quality and Regulatory guideline.**

**He/She will be responsible for price and price forecast management, critical service/quality issues, market knowledge for his/her group of materials, proper sourcing, saving program coordination and reporting, supply chain Risk Management while supporting innovation and new products development, Raw and Pack materials Regulatory Compliance. He/She is closely connected with all the functions of the supply chain, manufacturing, R&D, Global Procurement, Legal, and Regulatory.**

**Main responsibilities**
- **
Interfaces with suppliers' sales, technical and other functional groups as well as CMS, Technology, Marketing and Finance functions to enforce Purchasing policies, resolve issues, align service and financial strategies**
- ** Develops documented understanding of market structure and drivers for his/her materials with particular reference to Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Packaging, with risk management overview, and identifies opportunities and threats for the future.**
- ** Contribute to keep an adequate portfolio of suppliers/materials of proper grade/classification as required by each specific Product Dossier.**
- ** Coordinate new Supplier/material qualification with I&S, Regulatory, Quality, Packaging, Supplier and Contract Manufacturer and Initiate Management Of Change to document.Coordinate new material Implementation following Variation approval.**
- ** Maintain a good level of documentation promptly updated for each material in the portfolio including CP requirements/ Spec, Ingredients Info (Drug Master file, certificate of Suitability, Qualification status, etc**
- ** Develops and implement savings projects and tracking files, implements FTG projects**
- ** Executes effective negotiations for specific raw and/or packaging materials purchases, including price but also terms and conditions with special attention to segregation of duties**
- ** Prepares Financial reports to track and anticipate the material process evolution**
- ** Coordinates continuous improvement programs with suppliers**
- ** Works with CP attorneys and with suppliers on signing of contracts, ensures that all major materials are covered with a legal contract**
- ** Develops Risk Management platforms for each material covering single source/single plant materials and additional potential risks.**
- ** Makes sure Segmentation Analysis and strategies in place and aligned for all materials**
- ** Becomes Enhanced Supplier Management certified auditor, completes risk assessment on his/her materials with special attention to GMP requirements for API, excipients and primary packagings. Sets up and completes audits.**
- ** Interfaces with suppliers to prevent / solve critical service and quality issues**
- ** Accountable for the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the entire Category Supply Chain**
- ** Participates in external industry forums (e.g., SDA or external Purchasing organizations) and internal Purchasing Council meetings**
- ** Ensure suppliers' compliance to compendial changes for raw materials (EP/USP, Food Additives) communicated by CP Quality/Regulatory and ISO 15378_2017 for medicinal’s primary packaging.**

**Education**:
**B.A./B.S. Degree in a technical or business field, CPM and/or MBA desirable**

**Experience**:
**2-6+ years Purchasing or Supply Chain experience**
