As part of the Accounting team, the Payable & Cash Accountant will play a key role in managing accounting operations, contributing to regulatory adherence and the continuous improvement of administrative processes for the Italian Legal Entities of Ameresco Group.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Management of Accounts Payable: recording and verification of incoming supplier invoices;
- Accounting reconciliation: regular execution of cash and other account reconciliations to ensure consistency and resolution of discrepancies;
- Responsible for preparing journal entries primarily related to cash accounts, and other support as needed for the monthly and annual accounting closings;
- Monitoring of economic and financial transactions;
- Collaboration with the Accounting & Finance department in Milan and the U.S., as needed, to optimize internal processes;

PROFILE
- Diploma in accounting or degree in economics/finance;
- Proven experience in similar roles, preferably in Energy companies
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (ITA GAAP and USA GAAP)
- Good command of management software and IT tools (Dynamics, Excel)
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
