International Principal Communications Generalist

**A Day in the Life **:The Medtronic Neuromodulation Global Communications team seeks an experienced and dynamic International Principal Communications Generalist to support the execution of global communication strategy across regions outside the United States. This role is ideal for an innovative thinker with a global mindset, exceptional writing and editing skills, and expertise developing and executing global communications programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Neuromodulation Communications, the Principal Communications Generalist will execute key communications initiatives that drive business priorities for Neuromodulation International and enhance Medtronic’s reputation globally.

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**:

- Developing communication plans that support the global Neuromodulation business strategy.
- Driving high-impact public relations, media relations initiatives.
- Serving as the “hub” for International communications, ensuring global strategies are localized effectively across regions outside the United States.
- Developing and executing engaging internal communication strategies that align employees with business priorities and foster a strong organizational culture.
- Planning and supporting communications for events, including conferences, congresses, town halls, etc.
- Serving as a key lead on the Neuromodulation Communications team, providing strategic insights and driving flawless execution of programs and product launches.
- Serving as part of the NM International Leadership team, supporting leadership communication and activities.
- Developing and executing of proactive reputation-building initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
- Creating and coordinating the production and strategic channel deployment of high-value content.
- Tracking, measuring and reporting on communications effectiveness.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across diverse cultural contexts, ensuring cohesive communication efforts that address both global and regional needs.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or International equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a communications role with expertise in both external and internal communications or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with fluency in at least two additional languages.
- Expertise navigating diverse cultural contexts and engaging with global audiences.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of developing innovative communications solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and regions.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing.
- Expertise with content management systems as SharePoint, Word Press
- Experience working with SalesForce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in healthcare, MedTech or medical device industry.
- Consumer-facing communications experience.
