**Job Description**:
The Technical & Scientific Affairs Specialist ensures the working-out and management of projects of relevant products, as well as the scientific support to the business (sales and marketing), through the contact with Universities, Opinion Leaders, through the definition of the products scientific profile, the detection and management of initiatives aimed at enhancing the scientific characteristics of the products. Ensure an adequate medical and scientific support to all internal and external customers of the Company. Ensure the accuracy of the technical information given to the internal corporate functions - marketing - and external ones - sales.
**RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- In accordance with the Italian legislation and the corporate procedures, ensure planning, implementation and proper monitoring of the support clinical trials after the launch of the products, developing and discussing the protocols, identifying suitable centres to the trials, contacting and then training the veterinary medical staff, preparing the required documentation and verifying clinical data, updating the files related to the study as well as to the assessment of the study statistical results.
- Take care of the publication of study results to develop knowledge about our products, strengthen their pharmacological and clinical profile, their reliability and image among the veterinary medical class.
- Provide a constant technical assistance and an effective medical and scientific support during the launch and promotion of the products,, training and updating the Field Force, analysing the products of the competitors, participating in conferences, reviewing promotional means and managing the questions raised by Veterinarians and the Field Force.
- Ensure the carrying out of the Pharmacovigilance activities concerning the VMPs, inform the investigators on the proper procedures, manage the protocols for data collection, collect and examine reports about adverse events, take care of the submission of the concerned documentation to the competent authorities and Headquarters.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Dept, guaranteeing the correct technical placement of the product.
- Responsible for the definition of the technical contents of the promotional material.
- Interface with the Headquarters - participation in international teams - in order to share specific technical aspects of the Italian context, with reference to diseases, health management and competitors as well as to provide technical support to the implementation of international scientific studies.
- Participate/lead meetings (with respect to diseases, product use, etc ) organized by the Company with veterinarians/farmers, aimed at increasing the technical knowledge/awareness of diseases relevant to the corporate products portfolio.
- Follow, promote, involve and continuously interact with the O.L. on specific projects or on topics of interest to the Company and the interlocutor.
- Responsible to define and evaluate goals and results of the team.
- Attend meetings and conferences, even as speaker.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine disciplines
- 3-6 years of experience in similar roles
- Fluent English and Italian
