Role Purpose:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead and manage maintenance activities in the Cluster. You will organize, optimize the maintenance activities (Buildings, machines, equipment, roads, mobile equipment quarries), mechanically and electrically, in the site within the agreed cost budget in order to achieve the service level and the efficiency required. All this to be done in a sustainable (using planned/preventive maintenance) and safe way according to the organization’s policy, guidelines and Sibelco values.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Safety Leadership:
- Ensures Compliance with Safety and Sustainability Standards as required by law and company policy- Ensures the safety of maintenance personnel. Leads and supports the safety program and all safety efforts. Conducts or ensures safety training is completed

2) Lead & Manage Maintenance Activities:
- Plans, develops, and implements maintenance methods and procedures designed to reduce downtime, minimize operating costs, and optimize the utilization of technicians, materials and assets across the entire production process.- Develops a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.- Sets goals for maintenance performance through establishing KPIs- Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements- Identifies and initiates the principles and techniques of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement to improve quality, eliminate waste, decrease costs, and improve productivity.

3) Budget Management:
- Manage maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budgets- Oversees the execution of all maintenance related expense and CAPEX projects

4) People Management:
- Directs, oversees and/or assists with all recruiting, training, personnel development, and optimum functioning of the maintenance team.- Develops supervisors, operators, technicians and engineers by coaching, training, properly delegating responsibility and emphasizing accountability for assigned responsibilities

5) Warehousing:
- Implement a spare part strategy and manage correctly the spare part warehouse, optimizing working capital

About you:
- Experience as a Maintenance Leader or Manager in a manufacturing or mining environment.- Good understanding of Quality and HSE tools- Bachelor's degree preferred- English and Norwegian - proficient verbal & writing
