PRODUCT MANAGER - CORE PLATFORM PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Role Purpose
As a Product Manager within the Core Platform Product Management team, you are responsible for evaluating opportunities and determining the roadmap for the evolution of the Order Management System. You are able to challenge current thinking and look beyond existing methodologies to define and resolve complex problems. You keep abreast of external thought leadership and are active in raising the profile of our technology teams externally. You have excellent understanding of the market, the business and the customer needs, and use this knowledge and available data to make design and implementation recommendations and decisions.
Role Summary- You have extensive domain knowledge of multiple areas of industry, the business and technical systems.- You are able to traverse any part of the company’s functions, understand, explain and drive its strategy and objectives.- You are considered an expert in specific areas of the business both internally and externally.- You continually monitor our competitors to identify changes in their strategy.- You solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.- You can knowledgeably and articulately discuss our business strategy with internal and external business owners.
Product Design & Roadmapping- You are the ultimate accountable person over the roadmap delivered by the team of engineers you work with- You have in-depth knowledge of the key aspects of the customer experience- You are responsible for defining the overall product vision for the area of your responsibility globally.- You support the company in defining strategic initiatives.- You influence the technology strategy.- You execute high value initiatives across technology, commercial, marketing and operations.- You proactively identify and solve complex customer problems that impact on the direction of the business
Requirements Gathering & Data Analysis- You identify risks, issues and opportunities of significant strategic and tactical impact to the business.- You drive incisive and clear analysis of complex initiatives to produce substantial benefits for the company.- You analyse the worth of multiple initiatives in order to prioritise the global roadmap.- You lead multidisciplinary and multi-domain requirements gathering and data analysis across inter-dependant products.- You define, implement and monitor KPI and use them to drive roadmap prioritization and issue resolution
Stakeholder Management- You actively manage all stakeholders to ensure they are aligned with the defined roles, responsibilities, approach and strategy.- You manage stakeholder expectations and weigh their needs against wider business benefits.- You actively manage communications with all your stakeholders ensuring everyone is updated.
