As a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse activities for the Service business, managing and coordinating communication between the project managers, global supply chain, the logistics providers and vendors, overseeing strategic planning of the logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.
The role includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, sometimes in the warehouse facilities. Suggests process and procedure improvements and partners with the finance team to keep track of the logistics expenditures.
This figure partners with other members of the logistics team to ensure that the transactions are performed accordingly to Baker Hughes compliance and controller ship rules, to guarantee the inventory accuracy, high quality standards and to support the overall logistics strategy of the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Receiving goods: oversee the receipt of incoming shipments. Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and support to resolve discrepancies.
- Ordering Fulfillment: oversee the picking and packing activities. Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Organizing Warehouse: Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintain according to safety and operational standards. Optimize space utilization and layout.
- Managing Safety compliance: implement and enforce safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Data Management: partners with the logistics providers to have accurate records of all warehouse activities. Generate and analyze reports to monitor warehouse performance.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and other warehouse-related problems.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with good experience in Services). Proven additional experience in Warehouse and Logistics Operations.
- Display strong oral and written communication skills.
- Show strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence others, leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously, with effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Show proven analytical and organizational ability. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Oracle EBS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be fluent both in English and Italian (oral and written)
- Hold a EU Work permit
