For our Client, a worldwide Contract Research Organization, collaborating with all the major Pharma and Biotech companies in support of various drug discovery and development projects.
**We are looking for a**:
Scientific Project Leader - CMC
The SPL is also accountable for the scientific management during the preparation of proposals for these projects.
In the context of the project activities, He/She provides scientific oversight to the project and acts as scientific interface for the client during project execution by leading overall scientific strategy development and facilitating technical problems.
The SPL drives the team to focus on the scope of work in terms of scientific content, timelines and departments interaction.
**MAIN REQUIRMENTS**:
Excellent knowledge & expertise in pharmaceutical R&D and in particular in the drug development process and associated scientific and regulatory elements. Practical knowledge and expertise in CMC is mandatory, knowledge of preclinical area desirable.
Experience in the pharmaceutical field where she/he was technically involved in development and manufacture of API and/or Drug Product.
Strong customer focus
Strong sense of accountability for the outcome.
Flexible and adaptable with an open minded view and creative problem solving skills.
Excellent English written and oral skills.
Degree in Pharmacy preffered, PhD desirable
**Location**: Italy - Home Based or Verona Area
