Demand and Distribution Planner

This is a position based in Central Supply Chain Team in Rome.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Demand Planning**
- Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Interact with Central Merch and Zones, to understand and adjust demand forecast drivers for both Permanent and Cross Seasonal
- Manage worldwide inventory, optimizing product availability and coverage
- Ensure steady availability on permanent product (demand planning, reorder planning, defining the model stock, zone replenishment)
- Use and maintain the Demand Planning software (Anaplan) as the primary forecasting and sales simulation tool
- Coordinate the Anaplan Flows for Supply Chain
- Being able to challenge and propose improvements on the existing process and Tools

**Distribution Planning**
- Manage stock distribution from Central to Zones & worldwide inventory, optimizing product availability and coverage
- Ensure a smooth collaboration with Logistic teams in central warehouse to coordinate spot actions to speed up / prioritize flows of priority merchandise.

**Profile**:

- 4+ years of experience in similar planning positions
- Experience in Luxury/Fashion industry preferred
- Engineering Degree from a major university
- Excellent English, Italian preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of Demand Planning software such as Anaplan
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, (master in Excel, PowerBI)
- Positive & great sense of service
- Strong organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
- Collaborative skills to work within a team
