**Position**:
Italdesign is looking for a talent to expand its activities in the field of functional development for Gateway ECUs and E/E Architecture.

You will implement the technical concepts required by standards and regulations according to the specific project constraints.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and agile team. Together with Car Networking specialists and Functional Developer you will be part of the development process for series products.

**Responsibilities**
- System requirements design, creation and maintenance
- System test requirements design, creation and maintenance
- Interface with IDG Testing department and test execution evaluation
- Test execution results evaluation and periodical report to the Group
- Design and execution of Functional smoke tests on test benches both in simulation environment and with real ECU.
- Interface with other IDG and Group Function Developers to define and manage function impacts on other domains.
- Take care of requirement traceability and tests execution reports
- Manage impacts to Gateway SW due to vehicle architecture changes: Data affected, Routing Matrices, Diagnostic Interface, Performances specifications
- Steer the Gateway ECU supplier for SW upgrades and bug fixes
- Manage deadlines according to the Product Development Process

**Requirements**:
**Key requirements**
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ideally you already have experience in the series functionality concepts and the related communication implementation.
- Automotive (OEM, Tier1, Tier 2) experience required
- Experience on ECU electronics and vehicle networks, on embedded SW, knowledge and experience in the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay, LIN etc.)
- Prior experience in ECU’s SW Validation or ECU series SW design/development

**Preferential requirements**
- Experience with Diagnostic Protocols UDS (ISO 14229), DoIP, XCP
- Knowledge of ISO/OSI model and TCP/IP Stack
- Experience with CANOe, CAPL coding
- Experience with Candela or similar tool is a plus
- Experience on understanding customer requirements
- Experience on requirements engineering/management using Doors or a similar Tool
- Experience with Version management tool
- Experience on Jira or similar
- Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team
- Show initiative and work in a structured way

**Other information**:

- **Education**: Bachelor/Master Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics
- ** Language skills**: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
