Associate Consultant/consultant, Public Affairs

**The opportunity**:
APCO Worldwide, global Public Affairs, Advocacy and Pr agency, is looking for an Associate Consultant/Consultant to join its Rome office and be involved in public affairs, advocacy and positioning projects, on an international level and within the company multi-market Client network.

**Profile**:
The Associate Consultant/Consultant should thrive in a fast-moving and intellectually challenging environment where a commitment to delivering consistent excellence in client service is a strong motivating force. She/he/they should demonstrate strong organizational capabilities, tactical ability and have strong written and oral communication skills.

The Associate Consultant/Consultant is involved in day-to-day support of client assignments by managing portions of large client projects or managing small client projects independently, preparing client-ready materials for delivery, carefully reviewing the accuracy of information in deliverables provided by more junior team members.
- Key responsibilities would include:_
- Supporting and implementing a wide range of public affairs & advocacy projects and campaigns on a european/international level
- Conducting and analyzing research on a variety of client-related issues
- Producing flawless written deliverables under tight deadlines
- Taking ownership of public affairs efforts including fostering and cultivating stakeholders relations

**Qualifications & Desired Skills**:

- Degree and/or post-graduate degree in any related fields to the role.
- Ideally, a minimum of 3 to 6 years' experience. Consultancy experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Able to demonstrate exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills, including experience writing strategic plans, messaging, position papers
- Excellent client and interpersonal skills; ability to manage independent client relationships and communicate effectively
