Job Description: Global Forecast Specialist About you: - A bachelor or master degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics or Economics. - Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Forecast Analysis or Demand management - Hands-on experience with modelling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools. - Having worked in a multi-national organization with impact on local and international business units. - Strong oral and written knowledge of English to facilitate discussions towards solutions - Experience in reporting tools/creating reports using Power BI, SAP, APO and Excel. Your Role: - Manage or lead projects for overall planning improvements and digitalization. Be responsible for global reporting, dashboard creating and finetuning. - Finetune base statistical forecast with commercial marketing intelligence coming from the Demand Planner. - Providing the proper product mix (SKU level forecast), to have the right volume in the right time, to maximize customer satisfaction (OTIF) - Support the Demand Planners to manage the demand planning of phase-in and phase-out of new or obsolete products respectively. - Participate in ad-hoc BPO calls for continuously improving the forecast/system. - Create a close working relationship with the Demand Planner and establish efficient and effective communication. - Maintain the planning data in APO or other relevant systems and decide on the selection of the most appropriate statistic algorithm.
