**The Impact You’ll Make in this Role**
The Finance Director EMEA (M/F/x)* will report directly to the VP Finance International, Medical Surgical, and will be the finance business leader for financial planning and reporting processes. The role will interface with key business leaders, sales and customer operations, sales leaders, and key finance stakeholders (FP&A, portfolio finance, controllers) to provide financial and business partnerships.
As the Finance Director of EMEA Medical Surgical Business, you will make an impact by:
- _ Partnering with business leaders and other internal stakeholders to drive growth and margin expansion_
- _ Owning, augmenting, tracking, and updating the financial forecasting cycles for the region, including strategic plan, annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and latest estimates_
- _ Working with sales leaders, sales operations, marketing to drive our growth goals while delivering financial targets; ensuring strong financial discipline, high forecast accuracy and predictability_
- _ Collaborating with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and drive continuous improvement activities to enable us to serve customers more effectively_
- _ Developing financial models to highlight revenue and profit growth opportunities and drive resource allocation decisions_
- _ Improving efficiency of financial processes and tools through simplification, standardization and automation, leveraging technology and in collaboration with global FP&A and other stakeholders_
- _ Leading the Medical Surgical EMEA finance team, providing direct supervision to assigned team members through coaching, training and development; allocating work assignments, reviewing progress in achieving objectives, assessing performance, providing feedback and managing employee compensation_
**Your Skills and Expertise**
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- _ Bachelor’s Degree or higher_
- _ Profound experience working in finance organizations with key understanding of business unit and commercial processes and reporting_
- _ Solid experience of financial modeling for international organizations_
- _ Solid finance experience within a healthcare industry_
- _ Solid leadership experience managing senior level teams_
- _ Fluent English skills_
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- _ CPA, CMA or equivalent international certification_
- _ Experience in the MedTech Industry_
- _ Responsible for Income Statements_
- _ Leadership and collaboration skills to engage with business stakeholders and drive alignment on financial assumptions_
- _ Ability to lead through others and influence_
- _ Pragmatic, results-oriented with a strong bias towards executing with speed, agility, and quality_
- _ Experience in a global business setting and understanding of operational and cultural differences due to geography, size, and scope of the organization_
- _ Excellent oral and written communication skills_
- _ Skills in any European language _
- _Strong analytical skills. Ability to manage and understand complex data and derive simple and actionable recommendations_
- _ Record of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility_
- _ Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion_
**Travel: May include up to 30% within the EMEA region**
