- Purpose_

The Medical Excellence Manager role aims to enhance medical operational excellence, integrate innovative strategies, and ensure capability development, aligned with company values and country strategy. The Medical Excellence Manager will optimize medical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve medical activity efficiency. This role involves collaboration across various functions to meet healthcare professionals' scientific needs and support the organization. Key partnerships include the HIV Medical Scientist team, Medical Managers/Advisors, Country Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance Manager, Compliance Lead, Analytics, Capabilities Lead, and Digital team. The objective is to ensure efficient, compliant, and effective medical and scientific activities, contributing to the company's success.

**_ In this role, you will_**

The HIV Medical Excellence Manager in alignment with the strategic priorities of ViiV Italy and Netherlands:

- Represents the business voice, leverages medical platforms, and supports the implementation and maintenance of Medical Affairs processes and Performance reviews across Italy and Netherlands.
- Is the coordinator of medical activities (e.g.support to CME events), including internal training and Management Monitoring activities.
- Management of medical materials such as scientific slide decks
- Serve as LOC medical representative and Champion for Medical Digital projects to support transversal business prioritization exercises (e.g., Business Planning) and ensure follow-up of delivery.
- Partner with Pharmacovigilance Manager in GSK
- Establish and improve effective LOC communication of medical Insights.
- In collaboration with the medical leadership team and the capability lead, identify, coordinate, and/or execute training and roll-out of new excellence/capability strategies for medical teams according to business demand 2
- Coordinate and serve as scientific trainer to the VHL sales representatives/new MSLs regarding HIV area and VHL products utilizing approved Sales Training materials.
- Follow-up of medical metrics & KPIs

- Graduate in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Biology (or related field).
- Advanced English proficiency, and good computer skills.
- Experience in Pharma Industry Medical Department with an innovative, scientific-driven mentality.
- Proactive, creative thinking, and ability to manage medical projects.
- Competency in digital projects and open to driving change.
- Solution-oriented with an understanding of medical governance and business metrics.
- Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Presentation skills for effectively conveying scientific data.
