Bozen/Bolzano Institute for Renewable Energy We have opened a position looking for a highly motivated researcher in the field of building physics applied to the energy retrofit of historic buildings to join our team in Bolzano. The position will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team of the EURAC research group Energy Retrofit of Historic Buildings, consisting of architects, engineers, and physicists with several scientific background. Particular focus will be given to the characterization of materials and use of numerical models for the assessment and quantification of internal insulation solutions with the aim of fostering the energy transition towards a low carbon society in the Alpine Space and beyond. The position will be part of the regional research project to improve design processes for the energy refurbishment of existing buildings and historic centres through innovative interior insulation solutions.
