The Accounting Team Leader operates in a Shared Service Center based in Milan, providing administrative services for some Group legal entities in EMEA.

Within the Shared Service Center, the General Ledger Team Leader is primarily responsible for coordinating a Team composed by GL Accounting Specialist who are in charge of preparing journal entries, reconcile financial statements, accounts an revenues, and ensure data accuracy. Prepares analysis of accounts, as requested.

They ensure respect of service levels, performance metrics and policies / procedures (including internal controls).

Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Coordinating the GL Team
- Support the Team in preparing journal entries, reconcile financial statements, accounts an revenues
- Monitoring period end activities
- Other ad hoc activities in the area of general Ledger (e.g. reporting activities, monitoring KPI)

Education
- B.S. Accounting, Finance, or Business

Experience
- 3/5 years of experience in general Ledger /Finance

Technical Skills
- D365 knowledge is a plus
- Microsoft Office suite experience with proficiency in Excel
- Fast and accurate reporting skills
- Required language: English; Italian (preferential)

Soft Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and process large volume activity
- Willingness to assist team as needed to obtain department goals
- Strong customer service approach to managing daily inquiries
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, friendly, team-oriented work environment
