Statutory & Tax Accountant Junior

You will report to the National Accounting Center Italy. As Statutory & Tax accountant junior you will contribute to the preparation of the Statutory Financial Statements, Income Tax returns and Indirect tax compliance.

You will cooperate in the maintenance of sets of books for the Italian legal entities in compliance with Italian Gaaps. Interacts with SSC for accounting and VAT.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cooperates on the preparation of the Statutory Financial Statements for the legal entities in scope of NAC
- Cooperate in the calculation of direct and indirect taxes
- Contribure to the correct compilation of declaration forms and VAT refunds (VAT, IRES, IRAP, 770, IMU, CONAI etc.)
- Support compliance with regard to withholding tax, real estate tax and other taxes
- Prepare statistical reporting (ISTAT) under NAC responsibility.
- Interact with internal and external auditors for the area of competence. Support statutory audit, helping where necessary external auditors to interact with several internal functions.
- Liaise with Brno SFSC in order to provide inputs about the correct procedures to be applied from Statutory and tax perspective; support NAC manager in providing guidelines on general accounting matters and problem solving.
- Cooperate to maintain Corporate books for entities in scope (Libro del Consiglio di Amministrazione, Libro Verbali delle Assemblee, Libro Soci) and in the preparation od Power of attorney for designated employees
- Access to Cassetto Fiscale of the companies in scope and submission of fiscal declaration and F24 payment and downloaded related receipts.
- When needed, participate in projects and improvement initiatives involving the Finance function, for the area of responsibility.
- Manage various local activities under Nac purpose.
- Knowledge of various: Oracle, SAP, Esolver and local tool GENYA for Statutory and tax compliance

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Experience in GL accounting, Receivables and Payables and electronic invoices process.
- Working knowledge of Italian Gaaps and US Gaaps
- Working knowledge of IT systems
- Fluent English
