**Internship - M&A Analyst**:

The Strategy and Business Development team of ABB’s ELIP (Electrification Installation Products Divisions) is the function responsible for identifying and managing new markets and strategic opportunities including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships and merchandising agreements. We are looking for an M&A analyst Intern to support the European team in its inorganic growth strategy. Location: Sesto San Giovanni (Italy).

**This position reports to**:
HR Business Partner

**Your responsibilities**:

- Participate and support during all phases of M&A transactions: planning & preparations, initial assessment, due diligence, contract negotiations, closing preparations, etc.
- Help analyze and prepare market and competitive landscape.
- Help analyze target companies and develop target’s pipeline.
- Support the team in creating valuation and financial models.
- Create presentations, process documentation and decision-making material.
- Support the team in their daily tasks.

**Your background**:

- You are finishing your bachelor studies in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or similar (ideally with a focus in consulting, investment banking or finance).
- Practical experience in financial accounting, M&A or management consulting.
- High willingness to learn and perform and have strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
- Using Excel and PowerPoint is one of your strengths.
