Ats Engineering Expert for Diesel

COMPANY PROFILE:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
This position will support all AG & CE Product Lines and Platforms related After treatments systems and ATS components and its integration (together with the engine) in AG/CE vehicles, working closely together with the ATS component suppliers and engine manufacturers.

Provides governance between the ATS component suppliers and the different AG & CE products, platforms and engineering teams of all relevant data and information to ensure the proper integration and Aftertreatment system performance related to muffler canning, catalyst substrates, sensors, de-nox systems,and to optimize functionality and reduce relevant warranty costs.
Ensure the compatibility between the off-road vehicle & the vehicle environment and the proper ATS (& Engine) installation according to the best in class technology guidelines.

Will ensure that validation methods for ATS systems are optimized and aligned across AG/CE products, ATS Suppliers and engine manufacturers, trying to promote and enhance proactive activities, FMEA activities and virtual validating in combination with physical testing with the aim to improve validation efficiency and minimize costs.
Will participate where needed in Vehicle design reviews and DFMEA activities.
Will monitor and help drive DVPs (design validation plans) and assist in PIR solution and quality protection.

Is an expert and point of reference for Aftertreatment Systems, ATS components and ATS integration in AG & CE off-road vehicles.

Helps understanding and optimizing the installation guidelines and instructions with the engine manufacturers & ATS suppliers and provides customized guidance and advice for the different AG & CE products for ATS to ensure proper system performance and robust quality.

Supporting and driving any warranty reduction initiatives working together and coordinating with the different AG & CE teams and the engine manufacturers.

Willing to travel to gain knowledge on ATS and ATS components for Engine & ATS installations on the off-road products working with the different platforms, product lines, service and quality teams and indepent knowledge centers.

Demonstrates strong project management skills and communicates well across the different teams and with the engine manufacturers as well as provides a clear picture / status towards management to enable efficient and effective decision making.

This position will work closely with all AG/CE platforms / Product Lines, ATS suppliers and Engine Manufacturers.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support platforms and product lines related to ATS and ATS (& Engine) integration in off-road vehicles.
2. Governance of all relevant data between AG & CE teams and ATS suppliers & Engine manufacturers to ensure optimal system performance related to the Aftertreament system and ATS components.
3. Ensure ATS systems lifecycle quality in all boundary conditions and vehicle missions.
4. Drive consistency across the different AG & CE products, platforms and product lines.
5. Support and drive any warranty reduction of quality improvement initiatives related to ATS components and ATS (a Engine) installations.
6. Communicate in a structured and clear way across platforms and product lines and work closely together with the engine manufacturer to strive for optimal results.

Contineously trying to seek further improvements and optimizations related to Engine and ATS integration and share any relevant best practices, benchmarking or competitive information to enable the teams and the company to make the most beneficial choices and decisions for its products.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or a relevant compairable master degree.
2. Expert knowledge on Aftertreatment systems (ATS) and ATS components.
3. Very good knowledge of engine ATS functionalities and performance.
4. Good processing and analytical skills and pro-active approach.
5. Excelent capabilities in Program management and Communication (verbal & written).
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment with an open and collaborative mindset.
