For our Consumer Health Care department, located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia (Rome), we are recruiting for an **R&D Oral Care Assistant Scientist** to be hired with a 12 month temporary contract.

**R&D Oral Care Assistant Scientist** main Roles and Responsibilities will be:
Support and execute Research and Development projects in Oral Care focused on Listerine Brand. Important to present both passion and technical skill to support the execution of various projects from CIP (cost improvements), commercial innovation, reformulation presenting technical background, good communication, ability of teamwork and intellectual curiosity.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop a technical expertise in product design/formulation and manufacturing process
- Support development of new formulations for cosmetics with innovative and strategic approach, taking in consideration consumer insights, compliance guidelines, environmental policies, cost restrictions and the impact to manufacture sites
- Execute laboratories activities, for example: reformulation test and learn, sample productions (both screening and GMP samples), support on stability studies, sensory testing
- Support and execute scale-up activities with hands-on involvement
- Support claims discussions and demos creation aligning with key stakeholders (like Oral Care Franchise, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Legal). Provide technical background for Scientific & Professional Engagement discussions
- Ensure support of technical and logístical functions (Global R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Analytical, Microbiology, Quality, Supply chain etc.) across the different projects
- Manage project timelines

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field is preferred
- At least 1 year of previous working experience in R&D Reformulation and/or Product Development
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced in English (B2 level and above)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with different areas (global cross functional teams)
- Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem solving
- Working knowledge of Excel or statistical tools is preferred
