Reporting to the BI solutions Product Senior Manager, you will be working in this role as part of the SCRUM team representing the Product Owner and its business view, you will interact with the Business Units, Commercial Units as well as all other functions inside the Product Organization and Technology.

Specific role description

The BI solutions Product Manager will be responsible for the BI platforms product backlog, optimization f resources and framing a strategy and roadmap to elevate the user experience and optimize resource efficiency or the BI solutions

Main duties and responsibilities
- Be responsible for our BI Reporting solutions (MicroStrategy and Tableau)
- Refine requirements (provided by the Product Sen. Manager or Business Stakeholders) and document them on a detailed level as preparation for the Engineering team
- Execute detailed technical and data analyses as part of the requirements engineering process
- Own, prioritize and maintain the Product Backlog (in collaboration with and balancing between Business Units and Engineering) acting as Agile Product Owner
- Coordinate with the engineering team to deliver functional solutions and with the operations team to operate and maintain them
- Build and enhance products from existing ideas or backlog items and develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers
- Work closely with development team and stakeholders during analysis phase and with all required parties throughout the full development and release lifecycle
- Together with the Product Manager, define the strategy and roadmap for the BI solutions products
- Partner closely with peers across the organization to ensure we are delivering products that WOW both our internal teams and our end customers
- Promote the product internally

Background and Education
- Education and Experience
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in product management or consulting in the data world with extensive hands on experience across multiple BI platforms, databases and reporting technologies including but not limited to:

- Enterprise Databases, ETL, DWH
- Data Analytics and Business reporting
- BI Reporting tools: MicroStrategy and Tableau preferred
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling / mapping, methodology development and data modelling
- Experience working as a Product Owner in Agile (SCRUM) software development environment
- Ability to collect, analyse, translate and break down complex matters and business requirements into technical specifications and actionable items in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to connect directly with Business counterparts (commercial, Finance, other product functions) to understand and formalize their needs
- Personal competencies

- Experience in handling demanding stakeholders from different technical/business areas and tight timelines
