**Your Role**

Deutsche Bank is looking for an ( **up to **), Vice President level Coverage Banker to join its Corporate Coverage team in Milan. In this capacity you will build strong working relationships across business divisions, focusing on Client Relationship Management and Origination.

As a Global Coverage Banker, you will be responsible for covering a portfolio of international corporate clients. You will be first point of contact for the Finance Director/CFO and treasury teams of your clients and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner. Coverage teams provide clients with full access to the expertise of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank.

You are also not only expected to maintain your client portfolio but more so to identify opportunities (active hunting), structure complex solutions, and above all, adhere to and comply with the Bank’s KYC, AFC and AML policies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Covering and advising clients across the Corporate Bank product suite with a particular focus on Cash Management, Trust & Agency Services, Trade Finance & Lending, Securities Services and Risk Management Solutions.
- Develop “Trusted Advisor” status with clients and contribute to building Deutsche Bank’s coverage franchise and reputation in the market.
- Responsible for growing wallet share and generating significant revenue, recognizing revenue opportunities to cross-sell products for all areas of the bank.
- Drive results against client plans for revenue generation, franchise transactions, alignment with product partners and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring in close cooperation with regional / local relationship management and product teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored.
- Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Bank’s commitment to build the business.
- Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
- Assisting the leadership-team to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as Identifying issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication.
- Provide guidance and help develop junior members of the team to accelerate their careers.

**You will have**
- Academic degree (MSc) preferably within Finance or Economics;
- experience within the financial sector, with relevant coverage experience;
- Fluent in English, both oral and written;
- Strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills;
- High level of energy and accessibility, clear team player;
- Excellent interpersonal skills: effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Creative problem solving abilities, anticipates on internal and/or external business challenges;
- Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork;
- Excel and modelling skills as well as PowerPoint knowledge.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, risk management and risk mitigation
