Our Environment Team in Italy is seeking a dynamic highly motivated graduated Environmental Engineer to join our Federal Environmental Team.

The Graduate will join the Environment Team that, with more than 100 staff, provides services on large-scale environmental and civil engineering projects, and in particular will support environmental projects for the US Department of Defense in Livorno and Aviano. Availability to provide full-time on site support and travel across the country for other jobs.

The successful Environmental Engineer could expect to be involved in the following activities:
+ Environmental compliance supports, inspections and daily management of environmental media to include air emissions, drinking water, waste water, stormwater, undergound and aboveground storage tanks, hazardous materials, hazardous waste and spill prevention;
+ Collection processing and interpretation of environmental. Comparison to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

+ Supervision of field activities (surveys and tests, investigations, etc.)

+ GIS management of environmental data

+ Preparation, revision and updating of environmental technical reports

+ Support the PM and Project Team in the development of federal environmental projects

Minimum Requirements

+ Master degree (diploma di laurea quinquennale) in an environmental-related course of study (e.g.: environmental engineering, geology, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences,...)

+ Ideally 1 year experience in environmental compliance inspection, wastewater management and environmental permitting. A proactive newly graduated person could be evaluated.

**+ Main job site**: Livorno (expected 5 days/week). Ideal would be to find someone from there. Availability to travel to Milan and in northern italy for other jobs.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree (diploma di laurea quinquennale) in an environmental-related course of study (e.g.: environmental engineering, geology, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences,...)
