**Job Description Summary**:
In the role of Manufacturing Manager for our aircraft transmission components business unit, you will report directly to our Plant Manager developing and managing your team to meet customer needs from a technical and delivery point of view.
The Manufacturing Manager will have the task of increasing production and operational efficiency in compliance with quality, time, and cost standards.
**Essential Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:

- Manage the assigned Business Unit in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure successful attainment of production schedule commitments based on Customer demand.
- Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within Business Unit budget.
- Ensure communication of key business /customer updates/issues to employees
- Drive key initiatives including EHS, Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, and inventory cycle reductions.
- Ensure full compliance to EHS rules and requirements, according with duties and responsibilities provided by law
- Provide leadership in problem resolution, resource utilization, talent growth and career counseling.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for production planning.
- Enhance product/process producibility and delivered quality requirements driving technology and processes improvements
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Aerospace
- Strong experience in a leadership role.
- Strong manufacturing operations experience.
- Experience in developing and managing a multicultural and diverse team.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
- English and Italian fluency.
- EU work permit.
