**About the role**:
In the months following our launch, Piece has attracted customers from approximately 30 countries. To provide global investors with opportunities for fractional real estate investments, Piece is currently operating its headquarters and two subsidiaries. As a growing FinTech company aiming to protect customer assets and establish precise and timely operational systems, Piece is seeking professionals specialized in financial operations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and operate various financial models related to real estate investment and management
- Manage the finances of subsidiaries and SPVs holding real estate, and solve tax-related issues in collaboration with accountants, planning and operating financial operations and management accounting.
- Analyze errors in financial operations and management accounting in a timely manner. Solve problems with professional advice as needed, and bring momentum to the team to accelerate company growth.
- Lead the financial data transition project. Work closely together with the CEO and the tech team to transfer financial data to admin system and automate relevant operations to avoid human errors and improve efficiency
- Act autonomously and maintain high discipline as an initial member of the startup, laying the foundation for a strong team culture at Piece.
- Pursue personal growth thoroughly, aiming to become a leader of a large team in the future.
- Equipped with knowledge and skills in finance and financial modeling, and actual experience in finance-related tasks.
- Possess a strong obsession with the accuracy of numbers and maintain a high standard of attention to detail.
- Understand the significant impact of each figure's accuracy from experience in operating financial models and operations, and be passionate about systematizing to reduce human errors in finance.
- Basic understanding and experience of tech product development (no need for actual coding experience). Better if one had an experience in product development or product management as a manager level
- Proficient in the accounting systems of Italian companies.
- Highly autonomous as an individual, hungry for personal growth, and have a fearless spirit to take on challenges.
- Able to speak business-level Italian and English.

**Have experience in**:

- Operating on the finance side of a FinTech product.
- Creating and operating financial models for P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements at the product and company level.
- Contributing to the growth of a startup as a CFO or an initial finance team member in a team of fewer than 10 people.

The role and level of experience are **flexible,** contingent upon meeting the qualifications outlined above.
