We are looking for a proactive **Trucking Safety Manager** to join our team and lead efforts in safety and claims management.

**Position Overview**:
The **Trucking Safety Manager** will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, managing claims processes, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. This role demands expertise in trucking safety, regulatory compliance, and effective communication to create a secure and compliant working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Safety Management**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies in alignment with DOT regulations and industry best practices.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees, including drivers and managers.
- Monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to management with actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on federal and state safety regulations to ensure company-wide compliance.
- Participate in safety committees to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

**Claims Management**:

- Handle all aspects of insurance claims, including documentation, follow-ups, and resolution.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and providing recommendations for preventive measures.
- Liaise with insurance adjusters and legal representatives to resolve claims efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims and safety incidents.
- Collaborate with drivers, management, and HR to address safety concerns and promote proactive risk management.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Minimum 3 years in safety management or claims management within the trucking or transportation industry.
- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in transportation, safety management, or a related field (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
- Strong analytical skills for safety data and claims analysis.
- Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Safety Management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Director of Safety) is a plus.
