Cognizant Italy is expanding its SAP team and we are looking for a SAP FICO Consultant to support one of our client in the Life Sciences industry locally.

What will be your main responsibilities?

**Roles and Responsibilities***
- Lead & Knowledge Transition of **SAP FICO** for large SAP system from existing vendor.
- Document the Knowledge acquired and share the Application knowledge with larger teams.
- Lead/Build & Mentor an offshore delivery team compromising of varied level of skills & experience - as needed.
- Contribution in **SAP FICO** area to solving tickets against SLA.
- Run production issue calls & get to a resolution including but not limited to Trouble shooting complex production issues.
- Proactively find & implement improvement opportunities - improvements implemented this shall be a KPI.
- Should work in Incidents / Service Requests / Problem Management / Minor Enhancements based on business needs
- Work collaboratively with teams located in a different geography and deliver the project needs.
- Follow AMS/AVM processes & ensure the entire team adheres to it.
- Adhere to SLAs & ensure the team adheres to the SLAs.
- Prepare/Present status reports as needed.
- Participate and drive Weekly Operational Meetings (WOM) calls with business stakeholders for the respective module

**Skills Required**:

- **SAP FICO** consultant with at least 10+ years of experience.
- **Excellent knowledge in AP/AR /GL / COPA / CCA / PCA / IO**:

- Should have worked extensively on Bank Payment Interfaces
- Knowledge of EDI / IDocs is an added advantage
- Robust knowledge in Period-End closing activities
- Knowledge in FSCM - Treasury is an added advantage
- Knowledge in any other SAP functional areas - Logistics will be added advantage.
- At least 2 years of working experience in onsite-offshore model.
- Willingness to work in L2, L3 roles.
- Prior Experience in AMS is desired.
- Should be good in Business English communication.
- Strong communication skills in English and Italian.
