Are you ready to join us? We are looking for a Cost Controller intern

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
Establish and effectively manage the implementation of the Cost Control System, under the Supervision of the Project Control Manager, in compliance with Project Execution Plan and following Company standard methodology.

**ACTIVITIES**:
Functional Activities within RISCOP Department
Support Cost Control Manager in rationalizing Dept training material for CCE and developing specific training presentations and back-up material
Ensure, under the Supervision of the Project Control Manager, a proper implementation and test of the new Cost Control tool for the monitoring of project economic data
Elaborate the consolidated Procurement Cost Breakdown Structure according to the relevant procedure, reviewing the procurement/accounting system

**Support Cost Control Manager during Official Forecasts in**:
Analysing Projects official documentation completeness and coherence with SAP and ROKM (Risk and Opportunities Knowledge Management) System
Check project forecast documentation completeness liaising with project teams
Interface with external auditors for Project Forecast control

**During the project execution phase**:
Ensure the Cost Control System works effectively within the Company tools, and that revenues/costs incurred are well assessed and reported.
Analyze committed costs and activities to date, monitor activity progress and the relevant earned value, as well as the value of work done, against the invoices received, determining the monthly accruals.
Assess and review the estimate to complete, with support of Project Team, isolating any deviation from cost baseline or adverse trend and warn the Project Management on time to take corrective actions in order to prevent overruns.
Guarantee the implementation and monitoring of the project cash flow.
Support the Project during the contract changes/claims process providing the cost impact analysis.
Issue the project and company reporting, ensuring also a proper interface with Company Financial and Control Department.

**MUST HAVE**:
Excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong team building attitude and results oriented
Fluent English spoken and written
Management Engineering or Economics Degree
Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Outlook)

**NICE TO HAVE**:
ERP - SAP
