**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Global Supply Chain Lean Transformation Leader you will play a critical role within the Global Supply Chain in driving continuous improvement initiatives at enterprise level and you will have direct responsibility for achieving results together with plants and functions leaders. In this role you will be able to constantly tune yourself to business priorities, catching opportunities and anticipating problems, you will need to adapt the effort of a lean team of Experts so to meet KPI’s targets levelling out the workload and planning for the future in a timely manner.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Act as a coach for your peers, including extended organization exponents even at higher ranking in the hierarchy
- Drive targeted functions toward improvement in order to achieve KPI’s objectives
- Drive improvement and kaizens within plants in order to support KPI’s Achievement
- Understand, deploy and structure a lean standard work to transform the way of work
- Know how to talk to every level of the organization, helping anyone to improve ‘’their future self’’ in their lean journey
- Drive the transformation, influence the development of strategy for growth of our people and design experiential and formal training plans for our next leaders, build and lead our internal lean academy to our suppliers
- Capture training needs and support development plans so to provide the right skills’ growth within the organization
- Design, develop and execute new standards/projects/training in first person as needed by different input
- Support Cross Fertilization of practices and competence within the sites.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for learning, drive learning step change including benchmarking
- Make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering
- Develop improvement plan in accordance with GE Aerospace Transformation Strategy

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Engineering Master's Degree with previous experience in manufacturing roles
- Significant lean experience: knowledge of lean techniques, with the ability to architect lean systems based on theoretical basis, translating the theory in a rightly adapted business system for operations
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems, attitude to coach others in define problem appropriately and methodologically solve them
- Ability in coaching and mentoring others. Proven experience in driving turnaround in complex contexts, translating previous experiences in flexible support for the environment, master in agility, resilience and flexibility
- Strong leadership and credibility so to captivate operational leaders in the willingness toward lean
- Willingness to travel as required by the role
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

- Strong interpersonal skills so to be able to influence a transformation with several different stakeholder in matrix organization
- Attitude to deal with high pressure situations, deal with conflict, ability to negotiate, strong change management skills
- A great resilience is required to keep leading a transformational roadmap in a context where most actors are not familiar with and steps back are always a threat
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and ability to incorporate lessons learned. Ability to document, plan, and execute development plans
- Established project management skills, with proven success on the field
- Lean and/or 6 Sigma certifications to be considered a plus
