Lead Robotics Specialist

**Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities**

**Requirements**:

- Be instrumental to the implementation of BH AI and Robotics mission to make energy safer, cleaner, more efficient through intelligent technologies

Your performance will be mostly measured on Proof of Concept and Prototype projects and on your impact on change advocacy

**You will work with**:

- Digital Product Owners to define project's technical goals and requirements
- AI and Robotics Specialists to define the project's software architecture
- Develop the software that control the robot by orchestrating in real-time the components for perception, planning and natural language processing.
- Develop and deploy software components according to customer and technical requirements
- Extend your knowledge of the main AI and Robotics technologies (Optimization, CV, Reinforcement Learning)

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Robotics systems and software
- Advanced knowledge of general-purpose programming languages (such as C++, Python)
- Advanced knowledge of Software Development Processes and Tools (Agile, DevOps)
- Good knowledge of Software development tools (e.g. GIT)
- Advanced knowledge of open source Robotics simulators (e.g. Gazebo) and middleware (e.g. ROS)
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms
- Basic knowledge of agile practices and principles to maximize business value and continuously improve the delivery of the right customer outcomes
- Excellent motivation skills, being both self-motivated & self-directed with ability to deliver outcomes to strict deadlines
- Capability for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
- Ability to rapidly understand and learn new technical concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with demonstrable record of presenting technical details to a non-technical audience
