WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Valentino is looking for a Demand Planner Intern based in Milan.
The resource will support the team in the following activities:
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast data based on trends and demand patterns, develop ad hoc forecast models and evaluate forecast results
Conduct monthly forecast maintenance (weekly if needed)
Work with the team to project and set appropriate TSL (target stock level) at store/sku level
Support the Implementation of new/additional features on the Demand forecasting tool, with the goal of making the process smooth and streamlined: Support the implementations of solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy; Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Support ad hoc and daily Allocation activities (new tool roll out) from HQ towards regions
**Requirements**:
Graduate and/or Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Engineering, with a strong academic performance
Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a responsible way
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude
Open-minded, curious, methodical and endowed with a sound analytical approach
