Our site in **Trento** (**Italy**) is currently looking for a:
**CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & PROCESS MANAGER**

Our **Continuous Improvement & Process Manager** is a **strategic player **of the operations team and focuses on improving the **plant's manufacturing processes** and adherence to the division's strategy and standard requirements, fostering a **culture of continuous improvement** by defining and leading the implementation of any site-relevant initiatives; supports plant growth on the **existing/future machinery portfolio**; and directs the **process engineering** team to establish standards for best manufacturing practices.

**_Responsibilities_***
- Drive **lean manufacturing initiatives** focusing on plant productivity improvement and stock rotation’s management. Develop lean administration and product development process focused initiatives
- Measure and monitor manufacturing enterprise **KPIs improvements **trends in order ensure improvements sustainability.
- Support new investments to improve l**abor efficiency and output**:

- Make **technical feasibility analysis and return of investment calculation**:

- Support the choice, purchasing, installation and **start-up of new machine** and is responsible of on time delivery of the project, respect to the cost and respect of technical specs/normative requirements
- Continuously implement the **existing machinery** to increase productivity and quality
- Responsible of **production standards definition and validation**:

- Define the best **production practices standards** to optimize the use of the machines with the aim to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality
- Support requests from production and **start of new products (and/or of modification**); develop and carries out the processes’ development and/or improvement to reduce the production cost of the products
- Support the relationship with** technical supplier** and in cooperation with purchasing dep. work to obtain the best prices and service
- Monitor of the operative **costs related to the projects’ implementation and maintenance**. Is responsible to respect of the relative budgets
- Directly manage the **Process Engineering team**
- Requirements:_
- **Fluency in English is a prerequisite**:

- ** University degree in technical disciplines** (Engineering)
- ** 4 + years of experience** in similar role, preferably in the FMCG environment
- Lean management principles and tools’ implementation expertise (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM and problem solving)
- ** Manufacturing processes analysis and improvement expertise** (value stream mapping & business process mapping)
- ** Solid knowledge of VSM, 5S, Standard Work, VM, Line balancing, Problem Solving, Kaizen workshop management**:

- Knowledge of **Project Management** principles
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office); good modern ERP systems proficiency (SAP) is a plus
- Team management
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Solid planning capabilities
