**The Role**
The Head of Origination EMEA will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the power markets strategy across the EMEA region. This individual will be part of the Power Markets regional leadership team and will lead the Origination function, working closely with Commercial and Analysis teams.

The role is focused on the origination and negotiation of long-term corporate PPAs and other offtake agreements for renewable energy, BESS, and hybrid projects—from lead generation through to contract execution.

**Missione**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the EMEA Origination team.
- Develop and implement proactive marketing campaigns and respond to corporate tenders for renewable energy procurement.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities with major energy consumers across the EMEA region to support the renewable and BESS development pipeline.
- Collaborate across functions to design strategies that maximise commercial value.
- Structure and deliver innovative commercial solutions that balance risk and reward.
- Lead PPA negotiations in close coordination with Development, Legal, Structured Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Align project pipelines with market demand through buyer insights.
- Work closely with Origination teams in the US and APAC, as well as with internal partners.
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments across European power markets to ensure the company remains competitive and informed.

**Profilo**:
**Experience & Skills**
- Deep understanding of European power markets and proven experience in originating and negotiating long-term, bankable corporate PPAs.
- Knowledge of BESS revenue models and ability to develop commercial solutions for standalone and hybrid storage assets.
- Strong track record of closing complex energy deals or projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in team management.
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and speaking at industry events.
