**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:Partner closely with the Italian Cyber & Technology Manager to unlock production opportunities and develop actionable strategies to meet our ambitious 5-year growth objectives.
- **Financial Excellence**:Underwrite new business and renewals in alignment with our established underwriting guidelines, budget guidelines, and local business plans while meeting financial targets.
- **Drive Team Success**:Exhibit strong leadership to manage and guide your team; foster relationships with insureds and producers, and enhance the collective knowledge of product expertise within the team.
- **Portfolio Management**:Collaborate in shaping underwriting strategies, forecasts, and portfolio management to ensure profitability. Conduct quantitative underwriting reviews and facilitate regular management and peer meetings to uphold quality control.
- **Innovate & Develop**:Spearhead the development of products within your area of expertise to bolster client retention and drive new business within the Technology sector. Collaborate with peers across Europe and globally to enhance our offerings.
- **Relationship Management**:Act as the face of Chubb in engagements with brokers and key Technology clients. Manage and nurture these vital relationships to maximize business acquisition, retention, and cross-selling opportunities.
- **Operational Excellence**:Oversee junior colleagues and leverage the Chubb Performance Management Process (PMP) to mentor, train, and foster their professional growth.
- **Technical Leader**:Provide expert technical leadership for underwriting and marketing efforts, including risk referrals and managing complex portfolios, while addressing unique coverage needs in the rapidly evolving Technology landscape.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- **Industry Expertise**:A minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in Cyber and Professional Indemnity, with a strong market presence and reputation.
- **Strategic Marketing**:Proven ability to develop marketing plans and manage complex multiline accounts, with familiarity in both Technology PI and Cyber sectors.
- **Multinational Program Experience**:Previous experience in underwriting multinational programs is highly preferred.
- **Local Market Knowledge**:In-depth understanding of the Italian Insurance market, competitors, and the ability to engage effectively with brokers and clients.
- **Business Acumen**:Strong communication, organizational, IT, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the capability to drive cross-selling opportunities across various Chubb departments.
- **Results-Oriented**:Proven ability to achieve results independently while demonstrating initiative and making informed decisions.
- **Leadership & Development**:Previous experience in leadership, training, mentoring, and developing talent within your team.
