The Service Engineering Team at SIDEL is on the lookout for a Filling Mechanical Expert to play a pivotal role in enhancing our portfolio of solutions. Reporting directly to the Filling Service Engineering Director, you'll be at the forefront of analyzing complex modification requests, supporting data collection initiatives, and coordinating PDP (Product Development Process) activities. Your goal? Contribute to the development of new technical solutions for our LI catalogue. Your scope will span both Aseptic and Regular filling machines, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on advanced systems that shape the future of beverage packaging. **Your Mission**:

- Responsible for PDP process:
collection of new potential catalogue solutions, to feed the pipe for R&D request
coordination and management of identified PDP projects
accountable for timely commercial releases
- Visit customer to better understand specific needs, specifications and assess machine’s condition, when complex requests are issued
- Support in defining the installation/commissioning planning for complicated modifications
- Coordinate the testing activity for new filling machines’ components or subassemblies, as a result of resourcing or obsolescence resolution activities
- Support the sales force in discussing technical details during negotiation of major deals
- Technical Support in executing RCA for complex issues
- Collaborate with EP&I experts to
develop LI solutions in line with new equipment evolution
define how to integrate new technologies/option in the Installed Base

**Your Profile**:

- Minimum 10 yrs experience in filling machines testing, installation and commissioning
- In depth knowledge of filling machines for packaging industry.
- Knowledge of CAD 3D/2D (e.g. Pro engineering Creo, Solidworks,) and understanding of mechanical drawings.
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in testing activities is a plus
- Good reporting capability
- Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
- Ability to work cross-borders and cross-functionally, with other parts of the Sidel organisation (commercial zones, sourcing, engineering, etc), as well as external suppliers
- Assertive, proactive and driving for results
- English level: good
- Available to travel (from 20 to 40 working days per year)
