**About the company**

Uper Energy B.V., (Uper Energy) is seeking an experienced O&M Italian Country Manager to join our fast-growing team. This position will be based in Caserta / the Campania Region, Italy.

Headquartered in Rotterdam, Uper Energy provides Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for solar PV assets. As of this year, the company manages a fast-growing portfolio exceeding 140MW across five European countries. Uper Energy is a subsidiary of developer and EPC, Unisun Energy B.V., and part of the Alternus Energy Group Plc (Alternus). Alternus is an international vertically integrated independent power producer (IPP). Headquartered in Ireland, and listed on the Euronext Growth Oslo, the Company develops, installs, owns, and operates midsized utility scale solar parks.

**About the role**

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate and liaise with the Uper Energy Senior management team
- Communicate and liaise with the local Uper Energy technical management team
- Achieve best possible performance of the PV plants
- Perform daily monitoring of the plants through the online monitoring portal
- Provide support for annual and maintenance activities, in line with the annual maintenance plan
- Provide support to the quarterly preventative maintenance activities
- Undertake periodical site visits
- Communicate with and manage the local O&M operators / sub-contractors
- Prompt management of corrective interventions
- Coordinate with manufacturers in relation to warranty claims/repair
- Provide support for the management and procurement of spare parts and services
- Provide technical support for preparing the necessary technical documentation for local and statutory entities
- Communicate and liaise with the Alternus Energy Italian country manager

**Reporting**

The O&M Manager will report to the Uper Energy senior management team.

**Your qualifications & competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Sustainable Energy Technology
- Good communication skills and fluent in English and Italian
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the PV industry
- Good commercial skills and well-established relations within the Italian energy industry
- Experience with software programs Meteocontrol (VCOM) and PVsyst is preferred
- Ability to multi-task is a must
- Should have strong attention to detail but still be able to deal with deadlines
- VCA++ or SCC certificate or equivalent is mandatory (or willingness to obtain).
