**Role purpose**:
We are looking for a Media Relations Specialist who will support Vodafone’s brand though media and digital channel, both proactively and reactively

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- daily press review and news monitoring;
- preparing storylines, press kits and releases;
- organizing press conference and media event;
- analyzing competitors and market scenario
- Assure proactive communication of Vodafone’s initiatives on traditional and online media leveraging on relations with relevant stakeholders
- responding to national press, radio, tv and online media inquiries

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Capacity to work under time pressure in a fast paced multifaceted context
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Fluency in English

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Excellent writing skills
- Deep understanding of the media context
- Media engagement skills
- Negotiation skills
- At least 2/3 years of experience in a communication role, preferably in PR
- Existent PR network (preferable)

**Key performance indicators**:

- Timing and delivery of comms plan
- Quantity and quality of visibility developed through media cannels
- Quarterly Media Report,
