The Sales Manager Extrusion is responsible for sales within the Italian & MEA Market, with a focus on selling gear pumps, complete extrusion solutions and spare parts from the Maag Group product portfolio. The Sales Manager Extrusion maintains and develops relationships with key customers, OEM and end users, by satisfying internal and client’s needs with professional standing and proactive attitude.

Products to become familiar with are: gear pumps, filtration parts and screen changers, nevertheless Spare parts and aftermarket services will be also part of the job, in cooperation with the team in Italy and Switzerland.

**Position Description - Tasks, Responsibilities, Competencies**
- Target sales bookings within assigned market of Extrusion (Virgin Polymer ,Plastic & Rubber Processing Fields, recycling) and maintain daily contact with customers.
- Maintain active customers and develop new customer / agents in the area of Responsability
- Contribute to development of value-based sales tools, bringing in-field examples to the table
- Understand the competitive environment and provide guidance and tools on how to sell against competitive technology and where the market is heading.
- Maintain Company’s project lists CRM information updated and capable to use SAP for proper tracking and analysis
- Cooperate with other division of MAAG in order to guarantee grown of the business
- Produce the requested quotations, in accordance to the Customer’s specifications and in collaboration with the assigned team of back office.
- Follow-up / control / correct offers in the market and generates new leads throughout the year in order to achieve set targets (order-intake, sales, margin, costs)
- Support marketing activities such as: market analysis, participation to exhibitions and symposia
- Once the order is acquired, promptly and efficiently transfer the information internally to the Order Processing and/or the delegated Maag office.
- Available for travelling around Italy and other countries of responsibility for 50% of working time

**Education**
- Mechanical / industrial Engineering degree from accredited university or 5 year experience in similar position within industry
- Proven Experience within the Extrusion/polymer /gear pump Industry beneficial
- Proactive commercial attitude and business oriented
- English fluent
