Job Description

For a 4* luxury hotel in Milan, we are looking for a
**Rooms Division Manager**

The figure we are looking for must have an ability to inspire, motivate, and support the team in order to exceed operational and commercial goals, thus delivering the best possible service to the guests. In this role you will be required to ensure that all operational, quality, and administrative functions are carried out properly.

**Main duties**:

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the room division, guaranteeing high quality and standards.
- Work with senior management to develop specific goals and plans to get the job done.
- Assists others in meeting their developmental requirements through coaching, mentoring, or otherwise assisting them in improving their knowledge.
- Ensure that regular, ongoing communication occurs within the team in order to raise knowledge of company objectives, communicate expectations, recognize performance, and achieve the required outcomes.
- Lead by example, demonstrating honesty and integrity, among other qualities.
- Strong ability in optimizing processes and workforce
- Effectively defining KPIs for Room Division Department and aligning goals and objectives
- Focus on optimizing interdepartmental communication and lean processes
- Effectively recruit and training new associates

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience in all aspects of hotel operations and management gained in multi-outlet hotel properties
- Excellent knowledge of Office program and the operating system “OPERA”
- International Experience
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility
- Aptitude for problem solving and proactivity
- Availability to domestic and international mobility
- Excellent standing and communication skills
- Fluency in both Italian and English (knowledge of another foreign language will be considered a plus)
