**Position**: The Retail Merchandiser Leather Goods supports all the activities related to buying, performing analyses, weekly sales reports and forecasts, briefing documents to the design team, and retail presentations. The Retail Merchandiser Leather Goods supports coordinating the retail merchandising activity at the WW level to fully address market opportunities while maintaining brand consistency across collections, markets, and distribution channels. - Monitoring the business performance of Leather Goods by sell-thru, sell-in, sell-out, best sellers, and slow movers analysis - Monitoring sales and developing sales forecasts optimizing the stock level across channels and eventually proposing transfers, cancellations, and replenishments to HQ functions and regional teams - Contributing to defining the guidelines to the buying team during the buying campaign, defining the "must buy" and the product assortment, presenting the Collection, and ensuring that the output of buying is consistent with the direction of the Brand, blind orders, and sales forecast - Reviewing the retail buying with merchandising managers & regional buyers during seasonal selling campaigns, monitoring the buying process, and providing constant support to the local teams - Analyzing sales daily and creating insights for Top Management **Profile**: - University Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, or in related field - At least 5/6 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser for luxury consultancy firms or Merchandiser/Buyer - Strong ability and competence in quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance and forecast in addition to product report/feedback - Great sensibility for product and knowledge of competitor’s offers and positioning - Proactive, dynamic, strong relational skills and attitude in team working - Fluent in English, both spoken and written - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel); BO, BI, Proj, and SAP experience preferred
