ABOUT THE ROLE

The Application Specialist, with his proficiencies and knowledge, actively contributes to growing the business and reaching the objectives by training and supporting customers, demonstrating solutions and managing troubleshooting.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- To align customer needs to BD solutions, crafting partnership and supporting customers in all the phases of the sales process (pre-sales; sales and post-sales)
- To identify and address the right value proposition following the counterpart’s expectations, according to the BD Way of Selling
- To handle and plan own activities following priorities for the business as well as customer needs. Work for priorities to achieve optimization of workflow and improve customer happiness
- To contribute to sales by not only focusing on products but giving value to the whole solution, including the outstanding scientific support available for the customers
- Lead training and education of hospital/university staff
- To be responsible for continuous updating of the accurate use of products and instruments, as well as for demonstrating new technologies
- To perform demonstrations building the right Value Proposition together with Sales and Marketing
- To contribute to the drafting of technical documentation to be used for tenders. Be aware of competition offer and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to collect information coming from the field

**About you**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Biotechnology
- Flow Cytofluorometry experience
- Laboratory Experience
- English proficient
- Computer Savvy
- Oncology or immunology experience is an asset
