The Converse Product team understands our consumer, product trends, marketplace opportunities and is an industry leader in crafting the right product to serve consumers and grow the business. They will blend art with science to bring the Converse vision to life in our physical and digital retail environments to ensure a premium Brand and consumer experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who already has experience in Product Merchandising or Design and is passionate about fashion and is obsessed by crafted details and creating premium products that our consumers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON.

You will directly influence and inform original product designs that will be created incorporating consumer insights and behaviour, passionate storytelling and data analysis. You’ll work with Product leadership and team members in Design, Development and Merchandising to:

- ensure design feasibility
- achieve targeted margins and price points
- respond to merchandising needs
- respect product creation timelines

You’ll build awareness of current trends through market travel/research in order to keep abreast of consumer and design direction. In addition, you’ll participate in activities that will increase understanding and working knowledge of products, product lines, product development, commercialization and specific markets in which Converse does business.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of a fast and dynamic team obsessed by latest fashion and trends. You will partner with digital and geography merchandising, global product and design and development teams to ensure that the creative and quality level of executions is what is expected by our consumers. You will collect and respond to feedback on sales results, local market trends and future line plans

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design or Business or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in design and/or product and/or merchandising experiences in the fashion lifestyle consumer goods category
- Product and Footwear culture obsessed
- Good verbal and communications skills, including facilitating meetings and presentations. Should be comfortable presenting in front of groups of people
- Good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Demonstrated ability to be at the forefront of current fashion trends and be able to provide a fresh and exciting perspective to projects
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse group.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication is a must.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
