Sub-section Manager

**Job Description Summary**: The Campania Engineering Center is looking for a Sub-Section Manager having the prime responsibility to support the In Service products with focus on Engine Hot section Modules and Components. This role is expected to lead a team of 10+ people.

**Essential Responsibilities**

The Sub-Section Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives., In this role She/He will:

- Be responsible for the daily management, talent development including staffing, mentoring and coaching of their team, planning of succession pipeline, performance evaluations and guidance on career planning
- Collaborates with other functions on strategic priorities, programs targets and related KPI in alignment with the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost framework.
- Lead/Support engineering tasks like: Quality notifications (QN/MRBs), source substantiation (VSE); Departure Records (DRs), Re-Use Deviation Records (RDRs), Engine Maintenance Manuals (EMM); Field investigation and root cause analysis adopting TOPS8D methodology when required; Re-design activities; Tech Reviews (DRs) and Program Control Board (PCB); Change in Design process
- Proactively lead/support activities jointly with GSC departments and external suppliers to achieve producibility and manufacturability targets
- Reinforce relationships within the AvioAero E-TD Communities.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Master degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, Mechanical or Aeronautical preferred
- Solid knowledge of Aero Engines Modules and components design
- Proven and consistent experience in an engineering environment.
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
- EU work permit, travel availability required
