You will lead in the market and will develop a world-class communications plan for QVC, directly managing communication activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization’s brand and reputation in the market, aligning with the QI approach. You will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of brand and communication activities in line with the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. You will be an ambassador for the organization and will build relationships with the media. This role reports solid line to Brand Marketing & Customer Engagement (Market). You will have the following roles reporting into you: (i) External Relations Specialist, (ii) Brand Development Specialist,

We are currently looking for a Manager Brand Development & External Relations to join our team in Brugherio (MB) on a **fixed term contract**.

**Brand Development & Strategy + corporate responsibility**
- Create brand culture and develop brand equity through innovation (special initiatives) to drive business growth
- Ensure consistent understanding of QVC brand and aligned messaging among key internal & external stakeholders
- Drive evolution of consumer discovery by choice vs. by chance through special initiatives
- Drive the CR strategy, leveraging market level customer and brand insights Partner with Social & Community team to maximize efforts of each activity to expand reach/ audience outside proprietary platforms
- Partner with Merchandising/Broadcasting to manage / scout out celebrities to develop new brands and / or endorse current categories and programming

**External Relations**:

- Promote, maintain and enhance QVC reputation through the development of market level PR strategy (corporate, consumer, trade)
- Drive breakthrough brand marketing & communications strategies across all relevant channels & influence stakeholders to drive commercial growth (events, media alliances, advertising, co-marketing)
- Foster relationships with key opinion leaders in the business and finds visibility opportunities (eg. speaking opportunities, key notes etc)
- Partner with Internal Communications to help execute crisis communications, and work the People Team to align and manage “team member” branding

**Oversight**:

- Manage a local team of External Relations and Brand Specialists
- Monitor KPIs (from brand health to PR coverage)
- Define and manage a market budget in close cooperation with commercial partners, and guide local budget allocations

**Leadership & Growth Development**:

- Development of self and others; both technical and professional
- Provide role model coaching to team to develop Brand Marketing capabilities Inspire team and increase engagement
