DESCRIPTION: Please note: This is a fixed term maternity cover role (Fixed term contract until May 2027) Amazon's Books team is looking for a leader to help us continue to revolutionize how customers buy and read books. If you are ready to change the world, work hard and engage in a rapidly changing industry, this position is right for you.

We are looking for an experienced, curious and thoughtful professional to work with authors, literary agents and other content creators in France, Italy and Spain as they add selection to the Amazon store and use Kindle Direct Publishing and the many programs available to help authors succeed. You will work hard to improve existing programs while constantly looking out for new opportunities to help authors reach their readers on Amazon. Key job responsibilities include: In-person/virtual author events (such as trade fairs and conferences) KDP Account management and escalation management Literary Agents account management KDP Writing contests Self-Publishing community engagement Owning and tracking marketplace community engagement expediture KDP Social Media management Content escalation support PR team liaison KDP performance management (WBR, MBR, QBR) KDP deals management KDP Prime Reading management Amazon is an equal opportunities employer. - Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
