A lovely international family based in Rome, Italy is looking for an experienced and caring nanny to support them during the 2025-2026 school year. The position begins between September 8-15, 2025 and runs through June 30, 2026.
About the Family:
- Two children: a boy who will turn 3 in mid-October and a girl who will turn 1 in late October
- The family will be living in Rome full-time during this period
- English is spoken in the home
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging the children with age-appropriate activities (games, reading, music, outdoor play, etc.)
- Preparing and serving snacks and lunch
- Putting children down for naps
- Diaper changing and basic child hygiene
- Light housekeeping related to the children (dishes, tidying toys, etc.)
- Providing daily updates to the parents about the children’s activities and well-being
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with young children (particularly ages 1-3)
- Reliable, nurturing, and organized
- Ability to create a safe and stimulating environment
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Right to work in Italy
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Exact hours to be confirmed with the family
- Likely part-time, weekdays during mornings through early afternoon
- Availability for occasional evening babysitting is a plus (not required and not part of the regular contract)
**Salary**:
- Approximately €18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
