Global Risk Management & Sustainability Manager - Procurement

You will be part of the Global Procurement Function - Sourcing Excellence Team which is responsible for:

- developing and implementing the Sourcing Sustainability Initiatives applied to our global Supply Chain;
- setting and leading Risk Management practices end-to-end;
- identifying and developing processes, procedures and best practices aimed to boost the Global Procurement Function results and capabilities;
- driving the desired Digital Transformation of the Global Procurement Function.

As part of this team, your role will be pivotal to set and execute the strategy for the Sourcing Sustainability Initiatives and Risk Management practices aligned with the needs of the business and the stakeholders. Your success will be primarily measured on Strategic Project definition/management/execution, payment terms & working capital improvements, delivering the Sourcing Sustainability Initiatives in line with/beyond the expectations, creation and coordination of a Risk Management system, Value Creation and Innovation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contributing to procurement strategy development;
- Developing and introducing procurement-specific ways of working and procedures aimed to reach the Procurement Excellence by higher efficiency and effectiveness;
- Shaping up the best suited strategy for Sourcing Sustainability & ESG streams all along the Supply Chain;
- Driving the definition and implementation of Risk Management practices as well as Process Improvement initiatives;
- Managing and coordinating a team of Procurement professionals;
- Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service level, sustainability and compliance practices;
- Leading projects and work cross functionally along with regional/global Procurement Teams.

Qualification & Background
- 6+ years’ experience in Procurement - experience in the Sourcing Excellence or Sustainability fields is a plus;
- Strong strategic vision and entrepreneurial mindset combined with both analytical skills and project management experience;
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management and ability to interact proficiently with all levels of the key functional stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Sustainability, Quality, Compliance,)
- Effective written and oral communication;
- Experience in an international organization;
- Ability to make sound decisions in complex situations as well as to work effectively under pressure;
- Fluent in Italian and English;
- Willingness to travel (if needed).
